Talia's School Birthday

Talia brought birthday treats to school for her class.  Taizley even got in on the party!

I really can't believe my little girl is 5!  That is a big number and a big deal!  That means next year she will start school :-(  She had a blast celebrating her birthday with Grandpa & Grandma and a few of her cousins! She is having her birthday party with her friends in a few weeks!

When I asked her what she wanted for dinner on her birthday (I told her I could make her anything), she replied that she wanted a McDonalds hamburger and Chipolte!

Fire Station Field Trip

Talia's preschool class went to the new fire station last week.  They had a great time!  The firemen got called to an actual emergency while we were there, so the kids got to see them in action!

Taizley's First Day of School

Taizley had her first day of school this week.  Actually, she calls it school but it is really children's day out - one morning a week she goes and gets to play with friends :-)

She is big time with her backpack!  She loves it!

Good Friends, Good Times

Last week our good friends from North Carolina came to visit - it was a fast and furious 5 days!  Hopefully we can meet up again soon.

Last weekend we went to the KSU football game.  It was gorgeous weather and we had a great time with everyone!

Boston

We spent Labor Day weekend in Boston.  It was fun to be back there and hang out in the city!  We had a blast with the Ryan cousins!!  Miss everyone!!

The girls had been asking all summer to do a lemonade stand and they finally were able to!  I think the bandit in the background drank most of it :)  They actually made out pretty good - earned $18.00!

Sisters Trip

Mark's sisters and I met up this past weekend in at the Breakers Hotel in West Palm Beach, Florida.  It was a quick weekend with fun dinners and relaxing days by the poolside & beach!  We are definately doing this every year!!

First Day of School

Tuesday, August 21st was Tatum's first day of 1st grade!  She was very excited that day and was ready to go!  It was still sad for Mommy to take her to school :(  Seriously - where did the time go??
