Boston

We spent Labor Day weekend in Boston.  It was fun to be back there and hang out in the city!  We had a blast with the Ryan cousins!!  Miss everyone!!

The girls had been asking all summer to do a lemonade stand and they finally were able to!  I think the bandit in the background drank most of it :)  They actually made out pretty good - earned $18.00!

Sisters Trip

Mark's sisters and I met up this past weekend in at the Breakers Hotel in West Palm Beach, Florida.  It was a quick weekend with fun dinners and relaxing days by the poolside & beach!  We are definately doing this every year!!

First Day of School

Tuesday, August 21st was Tatum's first day of 1st grade!  She was very excited that day and was ready to go!  It was still sad for Mommy to take her to school :(  Seriously - where did the time go??

Smore Night

We tried out our new firepit last night.  The girls had a blast roasting their own marshmallows!  I was surprised they went to sleep ok after that much chocolate!

Fake Nails

Ever since cousin Evie had fake nails at our house, Tatum has been wanting to wear them.  Finally, I let her put some on the other day.  She wanted them left long, but then decided fake nails weren't as great as she thought :-)  She only wore them for about 20 minutes and took them off to go and play!

End of Year Swimming

Summer is coming to a close, so we spent all day Saturday swimming.  We started out with a pool party at one pool and then moved to second pool to finish out the day.  The girls had alot of fun and made us wonder - where did the summer go??

Kirksville

We were in Kirksville, Missouri a few weeks ago for Mark's high school reunion.  We were able to see all of his friends and their families which was so fun!  The Willman cousins (from North Carolina) were there too, so we spent some time catching up with them!  We also visited Mimi's site - can't believe it has been 9 years :(  We miss her everyday!!

Cousin Time

Our North Carolina cousins were here for a few weeks so we got all the family together!  It was super busy with 22 people to coordinate!  The last part of their trip we went to Kansas City to catch a Royals game and  hang out!  Fun Times!!

Taizley's Harmonica

Taizley's newest thing is to bring her harmonica and cowboy hat everywhere.  She plays her harmonica all day!  She might put it down for just a little while and then I will hear her playing somewhere else in the house.    
She also says "Hee Ha" - which I was trying to get her to do, but she wouldn't do it on demand of course!

Arkansas Fun

Last week we traveled down to Arkansas to spend time with Mark's whole family.  It was so much fun and the week flew by!  We miss everyone already!
